In a pocket-sized village under a warm sky, odd little problems usually solved themselves. Not today. Penguins dino rat elephant. Ollie rested both hands on a pocket full of berries and decided this was exactly the sort of puzzle worth helping. Together with a lamb named Cloud, Ollie checked every small sign: mossy steps, then lantern puddles, then teacup reflections. Each clue showed what was wrong, but also hinted at what the wonder was trying to become. At first they tried neat little fixes, then funny little fixes, and then one very sideways idea. Nothing worked until Ollie noticed that the problem was asking for understanding, not hurry. Only then did the real answer appear. The odd little wonder had been trying to help all along. The smallest helpful gesture turned out to be the truest repair. Soon the whole place felt tidier, softer, and somehow brighter. Ollie walked home beside a lamb named Cloud, proud of a job done gently. That night came with the perfect ending line: "gentle ideas can open bright doors."
