Froggy's Big Jump

Froggy wanted to jump over the big log.

Froggy wanted to jump over the big log. All the other frogs could do it. Hop! Over they went.

Froggy tried. Jump! Bonk. He bumped right into it. "Ow," said Froggy.

He tried again. Jump! Bonk. Not high enough.

"Bend your legs more," said Grandpa Frog. Froggy bent his legs way down low.

Jump! Bonk. Still not high enough. Froggy felt sad.

"Do not give up," said Grandpa Frog. "Try one more time. Believe you can do it."

Froggy bent his legs. He closed his eyes. He took a deep breath. He believed.

JUMP!

Froggy flew up, up, up! Over the log! He made it! He really made it!

"RIBBIT!" cheered all the frogs. Froggy was so happy he jumped over the log five more times. Jump, jump, jump, jump, jump!

From that day on, Froggy was the best jumper at the pond.
