Puppy's First Rain

A puppy meets raindrops, puddles, and a rainbow.

Puppy looked out the window. Drip, drip, drip. What was falling from the sky?

Puppy ran outside. Splash! A raindrop landed right on his nose. "What is this?" he barked.

Another drop. Plop! It fell on his ear. Puppy shook his head. How funny!

Puppy jumped in a puddle. Splash, splash, splash! The water went everywhere. His paws were all wet!

Puppy rolled in the grass. He was wet and muddy and so, so happy. Rain was wonderful!

When the rain stopped, a beautiful rainbow stretched across the sky. All the colors!

"Come inside, Puppy!" called his family. They wrapped him in a warm towel and rubbed his tummy. Puppy wagged his tail. Rain days are the best days.
