How our stories are made.
Every public Little Storybook artifact is designed to be gentle, visual, age-aware, and reviewed before it can rank or be shared widely.
Parent-first inputs
A story or lesson starts from a parent-friendly idea, question, language, age band, and desired picture style. We do not require child face photos.
AI drafting with guardrails
Text and scene plans are generated with child-safety, read-aloud rhythm, age fit, language fidelity, and visual clarity instructions.
Illustration checks
Published library items need real generated images. Lessons also use quality gates for learning quality and visually teachable scenes before publishing.
Human-controlled publishing
Family creations stay private by default. Public submissions and admin-created library items are reviewed for privacy, unsafe content, and gentle tone before indexing.
What we never do
We do not target ads at children, ask for real child face photos, or publish unreviewed generated stories into the public library.
